The main responsibilities of the employed person include:
- assembly of ship hull sections based on technical drawings
- assembling and fitting steel components (plates, profiles, reinforcements)
- preparing components for welding (tacking, positioning, leveling)
- performing measurements and checking compliance with technical documentation
- operating basic locksmith and assembly tools
- collaborating with welders and other members of the production team
- adjusting component settings and correcting minor discrepancies
- ensuring quality of workmanship and adherence to shipyard standards and procedures
- complying with health and safety regulations on the shipyard
Requirements:
- communicative / good knowledge of German or English (allowing for communication in the workplace)
- experience in the aforementioned position
- category B driving license and a car
- ability to read technical drawings
